Another training session done and dusted. That’s a wrap. What a waste it is if you’re already checked out while you’re in it.
Trying to get it over and done with just gets it over and done — without any real presence. The info you need slips away because you’re too busy rushing to finish instead of taking it in.
It’s an unconscious urge to soften the discomfort without asking yourself to change. Yeah, you tick the box and feel some satisfaction. But deep down you know you’re completing — not called.
Showing up — but not stepping up.
You get comfort — but not growth. And you end up stuck in the same spiral, wondering why you’re not reaching your potential. It’s not about knowing. It’s about understanding.
Progress lives in your stillness. In the pause. In holding the discomfort without bleeding your power.
Let that stillness live in the restraint from wanting to escape.
Stop racking and stacking.
Own your session.
Own your intention.
Own your attention.
Don’t leave it until you’re walking out the door, bored with the situation you created for yourself.
This session is for the real love of the sport.
