It’s not about speed—it’s about your durability at speed. Can you maintain it? Speed is useless in endurance sports without its economy.


The key focus is relaxation at speed.
That’s a practice—a deeply embodied focus.


The more you relax, the more you can relax. The more you can relax, the more relaxed you become.


Relaxation does not move upwards; it moves downwards. It’s about calming yourself “down” within an intensity that wants to draw tension “up”.
So when the screws are turning, don’t turn yourself into a victim.
Relax down into your feet. Breathe directly into the center of the intensity and discomfort.


The more it hurts, the more you relax. Yes, you fucking can. You only think you can’t because the tension is rising into your head.
You gotta practise your way outta the tension habit.


Consciously breathe the pain into your belly, into your feet.
Bring that energy to the ground—practice again and again—until the practice becomes automatic.


Now, as you relax, you can relax. As you can relax, you do relax. And as you do relax, pain becomes an energetic movement, not a weight.


It simply moves as you do.

Relax into what you don’t want to feel.
