Chaos is an idea we are not comfortable with, but there’s no growth without it. You have to get what you don’t want so you can attract what you do want.



Everyone’s trying to crack the code, get it right, make it perfect.
But it’s a fantasy. The truth is you just get better at meeting what isn’t perfect. You just stop reacting and start responding.


Perfectly imperfect. When it slides from what we want to what we get without friction, that’s when flow starts to make its presence felt.
Silence flows from the acceptance of the imperfection and the noticing that it is perfect.


Chaos is an idea we are not comfortable with, but there’s no growth without it.
You have to get what you don’t want so you can attract what you do want.


You can’t know that stoic little bastard inside yourself until the fantasy has been beaten out of your psyche through one challenge after another, survived.


When your nervous system is no longer judging chaos as threat, when the challenge rises and resistance no longer rises with it.


That’s the real Goldilocks zone you are chasing. No longer a victim of what happens, the magic chocolate sauce every athlete thinks is perfect starts to make its presence felt: flow.

Only found in the acceptance of imperfection….


It’s not about what happens. It’s about what you do with it.
Growth, adaptation, development… all symptoms of response.


So the practice is to stop reacting and start responding, accept and stop resisting, relax and stop tensing. Fall silent and read your body like a compass. Follow that lead…


Stop making demands of reality, and get real.


You, and only you, are creating the reality you inhabit.


Perfectly imperfect.
